Hi All, 
last month I became the owner of E2 and DPX1 simultaneously ) ANd now I'm working on updating these synths. 
My question is about DPX1 FW and bin files posted here. 
Currently I have OS v.1.4 on 27256 eprom chips.
I bought two 27c512 by Winbond and updated them correctly (double checked) by files from this group. 
Unit didn't start with new eproms. 
My question - Do I need to make some circuit modifications? As you see I changed eprom to big one(it was in readme of bin archive). Is it supported? I'm worry about that. 
If anybody has any experience in updating DPX1 OS, please, share it.
