Tip on meassuring the voltage output level on the PSU

Hi fellow EII users I thought I had some trouble with the EII PSU and I had to meassure the exact voltage output level to the boards. With a technician friend of mine, we made this discovery: When you want to meassure the correct voltage output from the switch mode PSU it's not a good idea to meassure the output from the output connectors on the PSU. This is because the PSU needs the right resistance from the EII boards to be able to give the correct output voltage level. Therefore you need to meassure the left leg on the CR117 component and the left leg on the R117 component on the PSU while the PSU output connectors sit attached to the board and on to the floppy drives. I hope this will help diagnose any PSU ouput level problems. Best regards Brian Denmark
