From message #1997: OMI Universe of Sounds Library Vol 1 & 2 are still available commercially from Q-Up Arts. See pricing and ordering information here: http://www.quparts.com/pricelist.pdf OMI Universe of Sounds Library Vol 3 is still available commercially in floppy disk format from Northstar: http://www.northstarsamples.com/EIIFloppies.html Im not sure if they are still available in CDS3 format (probably not). If thats what you need, youll have to watch eBay or source them privately.

Thanks. what format is the Q Up disc 1 & 2 in? CD? 3 1/2? 5 1/4? If it' not 5 1/4 floppy, how do I hook it up to my E II +? I can't find the OMI universe of sound volume 3 anywhere in that long list of Northstar discs you sent. Is it there? Is there another link you can send that has it? Thanks. Jonathan G. Chance, Esq. That long list of disks *is* OMI Vol 3. It is sold in 5-1/4" floppy disk format. Again, contact Northstar for specifics.

i bought a mac classic just for his purpose. where can i get the mac to emu connector cable? that WHOLE list is the volume 3 of universe of sounds? Egad. No wonder that person wanted a free download. That'll cost a small fortune to buy all of that in floppy disc format. Jonathan G. Chance, Esq. Just formatting 500 floppy disks on the E-II is worth quite a bit in time, materials, and machine wear IMO. Youd need to talk to them about pricing concerns. Id bet they wouldnt be opposed to offering a discount and/or delivery on alternative media if you want the entire collection.
