My display backlight need to be replaced does anyone know where I can 
get a good replacement for the backlight in my E2?

Hi Kevin.

 

I got the one from eBay via that Canadian guy too for my EII. Works like a
charm.

Took some pretty easy soldering on one of the boards – but nothing hard.

Hello Kevin,

I`ve got the e-foil in germany from here:

http://www.midi-rakete.de/ger/preise.htm

It was cheap and works pretty nice.

In the photos section in the folder "EII-technical" you will find some
pictures I have shot whilst the retrofit.

Hi again Kevin.

 

Just a remark on this:

I used MIDI Rakete for a backlight replacement for my EIII XP. Works well
too. Just thought the Canadian guy would be closer to your home in Florida J
