What kind of driver do I need to add a Zip drive to a Mac Classic?

Hi George,

I have OS 7.0 on my Mac Classic and I think I didn`t have installed a
special driver for my Zip-drive. It works very well with the old Mac
since the first time I have plugged it in and mounted it.

Best regards
Heiko

Heiko-

I have 7.0 installed as well. So, it's just plug and play? No driver
needed or just a standard zip driver?

Hi George,

have you tried it? It`s now three years ago, as I`ve got my EII, but I
mean, that it has worked from the first time I`ve tried it - without
installing a driver for it. For me it was more difficult to mount an
cd-rom drive. For that I´ve need a driver.

Regards
Heiko

I had to install Iomega Zip driver 4.2 on each of my Classics and
Powerbooks running system 7 or higher...
This driver and a full iomega installation package can be found here:
