I forgot to mention something on my earlier post:

I also noticed that 2 or 3 IC's are missing on the digital board. I 
don't remember the exact numbers anymore. I believe it was either IC 
147 and IC 157 OR IC 143 and IC 153. 

Is it normal that some IC's aren't present depending on the EII model?

Yes, that's normal. I have some missing, too, but don't know which
ones exactly....
