Emu II and Mac

Emu II and Mac

2008-08-27 by Mike Dade

Hi
I am now the proud owner of an Emulator Ii after many years searching..
Firstly, the OS disc must have been wiped so have one on order so that I can check out the machine - although it was sold as in full working order..
I am interested in using a Mac to connect to the Emu II for storage etc - can anybody recommedn the best Mac to use and how difficult is it to get the two working together (if this is still possible!)
Thanks

Congratulations.

The compatible Mac/EII combinations can be found in the Database
section.
But a simple Mac Classic running OS 7.5.3 should do the job.
Don't try recent Macs, you'll have to buy an old one.

The serial cable must be a custom-built one; you can either create it
yourself or buy it from www.emulatorarchive.com and receive also a CD-
ROM with a huge amount of professional original EmuII soundbanks on
it.

Success !
