EMU II Service manual for sale.

EMU II Service manual for sale.

2008-04-16 by mrjdevries

I'm guessing you all might have seen this..

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?
ViewItem&rd=1&item=120245495753&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=002

(No I'm not affiliated with this sale)

They are also selling a few other service manuals + disks for the EMU
1 (Emulator)

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?
ViewItem&rd=1&item=120245538379&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=002

I really want the Emulator 1 service manual, but postage to Australia
is a bit on the steep side for me at the moment.

Anyone have a PDF of these? If one of us buys these, we should make
it public domain for the greater good.

Regards

Mike

Hi
Both manuals are very useful, the Emulator I Service Manual with diskettes
is extremely rare...

If you need PDF Emulator and Emulator II Service manauls contact me off
list. I still make a small charge for them, but then you do get free
technical support as well..

Sad News

2008-04-16 by rob

Hi list members,
It is with great sadness that I inform you all that Ed Rudnick of E-mu
Systems recently passed away due to cancer. Ed joined E-mu Systems in the
early days in the 1970's, way back in the days of the Modular Analog
Synthesizer and Ed bought the first one in 1973! In 1980 he came up with the
Emulator brand name for the new 8-bit sampler, and he was closely involved
in product launches, manufacturing and customer support for over 30 years. I
met Ed in 2002 and he was a fantastic person and friend, he inspired much of
the Emulator Archive web site and made massive contributions to its archives
and support capability.

Sad news indeed.
