The files that i have copied have the .bin and .sit extension.
My mac is a 145b with os7.1
I have copied it to 1.44 floppy but it will not run on the mac.
Please help as i have spend days on this thanks

Hello synth.junkie,

the problem is, that your mac cannot read your pc-formatted disk, I
think. Just download the shareware "MacDisk" to your PC and install
it. With MacDisk you can format your disk in Mac-format and you can
write your data saved on the PC to it. It`s very easy and works very
well. The shareware just limits the maximum file-size to 1MB.

As far as I know there is a prog, with you can install on your mac,
so the mac has the ability to read PC-formatted disks. I think, that
I have tried it three years ago, as I have got my EII. But it hasn`t
work on my MacClassic. So I recommend the use of "MacDisk".

Regards
Heiko

The program is called "PC Exchange" and its in the file section. I
assume the reason it didnt work for you Heiko, is because you did not
have OS 7.1 (or higher) on your Classic...? If you can run it, its an
easier solution than MacDisk IMO.

That said, just use whatever works. There is plenty of info concerning
file exchange in the groups file, links, and message archives. ;)
