I build nice Emax RS-422 cables for anyone desirous in
NA and EU for $30. IIRC, the correct pinout for that
cable has been published anywhere.

The nice thing about Digidesign Emax SD is that it
runs under a hell of a lot better on an '030 and
System 7. I run it on the same IIfx that my EII is
hooked to with a serial switch.

Alchemy 3 runs superb on a frickin OS9 G4 so if your
main pursuit is Alchemy 3 to xfer samples to an Emax
then use your later hardware and enjoy the speed and
memory advantages. $100 for a Classic is bonq.
