My conclusion: The PowerPC 4400/200 doesn't work with SD and EII

Hi Fellow EII fanatics ;-) After 10 days of testing a PowePC 4400/200 I regret to conclude that this machine won't work with SoundDesigner. I've tried with OS 8 and 8,5 with out success. "Cannot communicate with the EII" I also tried copying OS 8,0 from a perfectly working PowerMac 7500/100 (which communicate with the EII perfectly) to the HD of the PowerPC 4400/200 same result. I've testet with the ADB modem and printer port, apple talk on and off, and ramdisk on and off without luck. My PowerMac 7500/100 communicates very well with the same cable and EII as I've used with the PowerPC 4400/200, so the problem lies within the problematic PowerPC. Unless any of you wizards have any suggestions to solve this, the PowerPC goes to storage. Best regards Brian Denmark
