I know there's something wrong with my lcd but I'm not sure what I need...
The backlight still works but the letters are very feint.
Anyone have any idea which bit it is that I need to replace?

I replaced the backlight in mine, and that helped with the visibility HEAPS, but the dispay was never 'faint' just hard to read in the dark. Now it looks brand new, I was pretty impressed.
