Get your Oberheim DPX-1 Latest OS ROMs V2.2

Get your Oberheim DPX-1 Latest OS ROMs V2.2

2007-11-05 by Chris Strellis

Guys,

If you can burn your own EPROMs you can upgrade to the latest OS by
using these files:

http://www.strellis.com/Download/dpx1/dpx1v22.zip

I copied them from my own DPX-1 ROM set. You need to use 27512 64k
EPROMS for both the Lower and Upper binaries.

Cheers

Chris

Hi,

My DPX don't accept my eproms with OS 2.2
I have had OS 1.3 before
Eprom programming was done from an online service,
so i think that they have done it correct.

OS 1.3 are 27C256 eproms with 32k per chip and for
OS 2.2 i have taken 27C512 because of 64k per eprom.
Just as the readme.txt says

Now i am unsure if it make sense to shop the OS 2.2
from Route66. If they also will not run, i have burned
nearly 100$. :-(

Anyone knowing something about that?

Christian
