RS422 Adapter for REV 0 owners

RS422 Adapter for REV 0 owners

2007-08-19 by emuarc2

Hi
Is there anyone on the list who wants to buy a RS422 adapter PCB for
their Rev 0 Emulator II? I am seeing if there is any demand for getting
the E-mu Systems daughterboard remanufactured. The PCB comes with the
components fitted and it needs 4 wires attaching (soldering) into the
digital board, this is best done by a service tech or someone with
electronics knowledge. The PCB will cost around 30 UK pounds. It will
enable Rev0 owners to connect a Mac computer over the serial interface
and therfeore be able to run Sound Designer for EII and access the
large EII sample library that is available.

Regards
Rob

Hi Rob,

Would it be usable in a later version EII or EII+?

Reason I ask is that it might be nice to have one as a spare in case either
of my two units kicked it.

Just a thought....

Dan

How about we come up with the latest rev Rom update as well, I would
love to get one for my Ell as well as making them available for anyone
else that need's it. I have the Eprom burnner and could handle the
whole process quite easy.

I'm interested. Also, I was on your website a few days ago and noticed that you were
making A.R.P. filters. You wouldn't happen to have a 4075 filter board lying around for an
Odyssey II would you?
