My E-II neither has a piggyback expansion nor it has connectors for it on the digital board (they were not soldered there initially). Also, two of the 4 lines of RAM chips are empty, so basically it only has 16 of them installed. AFAIK there were not many E-II's made like that. What are their limitation ? is it possible that the sampling option is disabled in these models, and that they were only made for playback ? Mine doesn't show any signal when connected to an audio source...
