Thanks for the reply. The noise floor I had originally was only about 50db so I did have quite a bit of noise. I have cleaned the input jack with denatured alcohol and looked around inside and everything seems to look good. I have started sampling for about 30 minutes every night and I am getting a much cleaner signal. I wonder if the Emu has not been used in a long time. Last night, I ran a Sine Wave thru it and got a good clean sample for the whole 17.6 seconds so right now, it's working correctly. The noise floor is down around what you said it would be. I'll probably not touch anything as long as it's working correctly. Maybe this experience will help someone else.
