I would recommend using an intel mother board for boot camp running xp. Or mac mini 4,1 which includes a DVD drive if you need one. Or the hackintosh mini hardware kits. I don't have an Emuser currently so I can't really test it's driver compatibility. Sent from my iPhone On May 15, 2012, at 4:36 PM, James Ulibarri <jamesulibarri@...> wrote: > A little more research. The new Mac Mini's do not have a CD/DVD rom drive. And I haven't decided I need that since I store all my SD voices on thumb drive. So if that's important to me than I will use the Mac Mini G4. And run Boot Camp with XP. I think XP will run the Emuser a lot more stable than Win 7 and support both the EII and Emax communication better. > > Anyone run a G4 Mac Mini with Bootcamp with XP? I think this will have to be a trial and error thing. It's gonna be tough finding someone that is running EMXP on the exact same configuration. Another challenge I will run into is the on and off button. And then grinding out the back for USB ports. It looks like this guy used a breakout USB hub which is smart, verses trying to align the front CD/DVD slot with the back. Which I don't think the Mac Mini is long enough to do from front to back. > > I'll figure it out. >
