EII ERROR: notenufmemryP

2012-05-10 by jason samonik

Hello I have an EII that is not booting/loading up. The floppy drives
are good and I just installed the latest eprom MAIN and SCANNER.

This is the Error I am getting:

notenufvcememory

I also got:

notenufvcememryP

notenufvcememry8

I re-opened the EII to look around the memory option board and I
noticed these IC's missing:

IC93
IC131
IC149
IC151

these are not on the memory expansion board but rather on the main
board on the right (see below)

My first thought was oh my god thats why! but then i thought... well
maybe you are supposed to take those out when you install the memory,
but the only memory upgrade directions I saw online did not mention
pulling out these chips...

My EII Serial Number is 26 one of the boards SN inside is 16 and the
other intenal board is SN33 the Power Supply is on the right side of
the board if you had it opened up and it was infront of you as if you
were going to play it. on the right is a memory board that is like
bunk beded ontop of the main board on the right and it says on it
memory expansion.

Any one have any thoughts! : )
