Re: Debug EPROM - Device Type

2012-05-02 by guitar5l50

After drilling down the text file in the EPROM Binaries folder of the files section, the info is clearly stated there.

Doug at EALnet is saving the day. I just ordered 3 EPROM chips.
1 for the Main 2.1 upgrade, 1 for the Scanner 3.1 upgrade, and 1 for the Debug. Each ROM programmed on 2764 chips.

My rev.1 with Dual drives and 512k memory has Scanner 2.1 from the factory. I assume that I will have no catch 22 situation just dropping in and updating the Main and Scanner EPROM with the new chips. If anyone can confirm the upgrade process, is it that simple?

Thanks to the info in the text file I'm closer to sleuthing out the issues with my rev.1 EII this week than I have been in almost two years running now. Redoing the PSU now and then on to the Debug procedure using the Debug EPROM.

This forum rocks:)
Can't wait to Emulate!
