The purpose of the buttons on the HxC interface is to page through the various Disk Image files that are on the memory card. Selecting a file is equivalent to putting in a single floppy and shutting the drive door. So, as far as the EII is concerned, the HxC with a Disk Image file selected is indistinguishable from a "real" floppy. hth, rs
