It's was just an experiment. I do not like the sound of the computer.
It doesn't matter if am using an RME interface or a cheap M-audio
box. It's still way too bright and thin. I don't want the reputation of using
the computer for audio. For the past 24 hours I have been sampling the EII with EIII. Good fun. Sorry for the extra post. I just wanted to clear that up.

I was interested in the product. But then I realized that to have the best of both worlds is to sample my EII and create wave files, and run the samples in Kontakt and Ableton's Simpler and Sampler. Sounds amazing. I sometimes record pads to my Revox analog cassette deck that I just picked up also. And the natural tape compression and a little hiss makes the warmest pads and drones. I think the hybrid setup makes some interesting textures that I would not be able to do using the EII by it's self, and not possible using any soft synths. The audio damage plugins and a few other secret weapons are really are cool. Then if you pipe the results from your sound card interface to an analog compressor you really can burn up a whole weekend from friday night, to early morning monday morning with very little rest.
The only way I would get that EII plugin is to sample it to my EII. And then back again.

I'll check the number of sounds but think it is just over 200 (not big enough). At least 30 I recognised as EII library sounds (EMU factory library). The low number of sounds and lack of sampling I've already fed back to UVI.
It isn't an EII substitute at all but does offer some modern features to EII and the other 80's synth sounds. Nice to have on the side. ;)> How many sounds does the Plug-In have?> From: JMP
