Jason, I'm in the process of doing the exact same thing. I've not gotten my machine working yet (it never did work, I think the drives were bad when I got it) -- but the first step in making progress after the SCSI Board and HD removal was to use the newest Main and Scanner EPROMs. Before I swapped out the ROMs my machine wouldn't even attempt to boot. I had ealnet.com generate EPROMs for me very inexpensively. While I was at it I had them burn me a Debug ROM also.
