Presuming your jumper settings are correct it may be voltage settings on the PSU. Tweaking these sorted a similar problem with mine. Completed by a tech, not me BTW. --- In emulatorII-list@yahoogroups.com, "trickstar303" <trickstar303@...> wrote: > > Hi, > > Last Saturday I picked up a semi-working EII. It powers up, but it won't boot. Even when a functional disk is inserted in the upper drive, it behaves as if there was no disk in the drive - The lcd says "insert disk" and the floppy lights alternating flashing. I know the floppies are good because they boot fine in my other functional EII. Anyone know of causes of this behavior and what to troubleshoot? > > Thanks a heap in advance! > > Paulo >
