Ok, this is the strangest error. Almost everyone i talked to were betting on hard disk failure. It is a user failure as you'll see soon :) My EIIHD's 20 pin ribbon is not marked for some reason. I put it back in the wrong way while i was replacing the LCD. I realised it during my last attempt, when i wanted to remove the HD: i wanted to see what makes bypass the HD checking during boot, and realized, that it still would try formatting the HD when the 20 pin ribbon was not even connected. I turned it over and lookie...a totally error free 20MB miniscribe is back. Not my content though, because it really tried to format it and it had success partly. Though i am not sure i want to use the HD as it is noisy and stuff, and now i made the HxC beautifully run. If anyone knew how to bypass HD check at the start, please let me know! thanks! --- In emulatorII-list@yahoogroups.com, "Adam" <fake@...> wrote: > > I've received a 3.1 HD boot disk to my EII+ HD (big big thanks to Brandt!) but there's something wrong still.
