Hello, seems like something has happened to my EII HD and it wants to boot from floppy.
I have no floppy disks for it at all. What are my options? Please heeelp!----------------------------------------------------------
I STRONGLY recommend keeping at least a few flopppies for this very purpose if nothing else. They're still very easy to get. A few months ago I stocked up on blank floppies from eBay. My originals just kept me from having some similar grief. During the last year or two, the original HD lost its contents a few times then eventually would not record at all. I recently got a better quality replacement HD, it's currently waiting for me to install it. If yours has completely failed as well, could that indicate we are at the end of the life expectancy for that particular type of HD?
