The Rosco filter idea works like a champ. Noritake VFD works in the Studio 440 which is the same display in the EII and SP12. It's pretty much a drop in.

Although, I am sure you will have gibberish characters from what another person offline told me. Until you know what chips to replace in the EII. It can be fixed like the Crystal Fontz one. I'll post a pic when it's done.
