Filter - cutting in and out

On my EII+, when adjusting the filter by opening and closing the filter, when adjusting the slider I hear the voice cut out
or there is delay in audio when striking a note or chord. But only when I am moving the slider for the filter. But when it's not moving, the filtered audio is fine. So even when I let go of the slider the numbers are still moving for a second in the LCD sometumes as I pull my fingers away from the slider.. But once the value of the filter is static and set in one place. and I hit a note or chord. the audio is fine as I stated above. It only happens when I am moving the slider in real-time and playing keys when I hear a delay from the strike of the keys to filtered audio output. Is this normal? Or is there something wrong? Does anyone else's EII's do this? When I use the LFO to the filter, the audio is fine that way. There is no break in the audio that way. It's only when I adjust the slider in real time for the filter do I hear a delay in filter to audio output.
