Hi ! i've just opened my emulator II, reading what you said about the ssm2045 chips. .... What if on the main output, the sound becomes wierd, after 10 minutes of perfect use ? i plugged the jack into each voice output, and the keys were the sound came from ( aleatoire ) produced the same wierd sound as on the main output. but only after about ten minutes of use, i can't understand what's going on .... what else could that be ? should i replace each chip of each board ??? thanks a lot everyone if you have any clue, and some time to read this sos message. best, Adrien > > > --- In emulatorII-list@yahoogroups.com, sm papke <mothrecords@> wrote: > > > > Hi George, voice chips for the E2 are SSM2045 type and are located > on the output board of the E2, and are the only chips I know of that > are compatible with the Emulator2.
