Yes, the E-II should be transmitting midi data generated by its keyboard, wheels, and pedals. Plug a midi cable from the E-II Midi-Out to the Midi-In of another device to test. TIP: If you connect to a sequencer/computer you can record and inspect the midi data being generated by the E-II.
