Doug replied to me off list that the OMI 1 & 2 cds that he has are in SD format and $79 each. So theoretically, those could be converted with EMXP to SoundFont2, or DPXtools to DPX floppies, no? The price seems reasonable. I'm going to buy one soon, but need to do a bit more research to decide which one. If anyone has any opinions I would love to hear. Or better yet any demos/examples. It's a pity IMO that the Northstar disks are so expensive and only on floppies. Maybe someone who has converted them all to SD could offer them a cd which, they could then duplicate and sell... or maybe they don't really care. I can't imagine they sell many of those floppies. > Correct, and we are still waiting for Doug to specify/confirm what E- > II compatible formats he has available and their pricing to our > members.
