Hmm....

I don�t know, I mean, there are numerous transactions on ebay of 
factorysounds for various samplers.

Trading factorydiscs ( in various formats ) shouldn�t be a problem. Or ?

OMI and North Star sounds on the other hand.....

I would love to use those sound banks on my O.L.Neko too, but I don't know 
what I would do regarding copyright . This is a serrious isue.

There is the guy who works for Open Labs who did it. Jim Stout. He was about 
getting my EII but the packing way too expansive to ship in USA .So I 
decided fixing it and keep it. Forever. Back to the issue, he converted EII 
soundbanks and used them on an Open Labs Neko. Thing that I will do as well.

...perhaps I could remind the members of the group that EMXP allows almost 
100% conversion of EII SD soundbanks to SoundFont2 :-)

I specifically added this SF2 support to EMXP to make sure that vintage EII 
banks like the ones from OMI would survive in modern (soft)samplers.
I've chosen SoundFont2 because it's a documented standard and because it is 
supported by almost all modern (soft)samplers.
