If anyone is looking for classic EII sounds in a more modern format, I share your pain. There isn't much out there to be perfectly honest. However, last year I contacted Digital Sound Factory, a company born out of the old E-MU and with a working partnership with E-MU's new owners, Creative. http://www.digitalsoundfactory.com/ They produce many libraries in many of today's current formats, including E-MU's own EmulatorX. I asked them if, via their long and illustrious history, they had got any original EII material and their reply was that they had every factory library and then some! Answering my question about whether they intended to do anything with it, the answer was a definite yes, but not at this current time L They do, out of interest, sell a set of sample libraries featuring the entire EMAX factory sample set, which contains many EII sounds.. http://www.digitalsoundfactory.com/advanced_search_result.php?search_in_desc ription=1 <http://www.digitalsoundfactory.com/advanced_search_result.php?search_in_des cription=1&keywords=emax> &keywords=emax So, I guess we'll have to wait and if you're as keen as I am, you may want to get in touch with them and badger them until they relent ;o) All the best, Rob.
