As I said - Normal booting is simple as it can get: Insert disk in the upper drive. Switch on the EII. The disk drive should then click and make the usual "loading sounds", the read/write led should turn on, too. After appx. 20 seconds, the disk drive stops loading, and everything's ready to go. NO Buttons involved at all. If you want the EII to boot again (load another disk) THEN you have to press two buttons: "Load disk" and "Enter". Have you dis- and reconnected the disk drive's molex connectors?
