Hi,
Good try! No, unfortunately they are different sample rates (27,777 EII,
27,500 SP-12), different sample resolutions(8-bit companded EII, 12-bit
linear SP-12) and diskette formats (sort of Unix, Commodore).

Keep the questions coming! Its about 20 years ago since Dave Rossum started
to design the Emulator II during a warm spring in Santa Cruz, shortly after
the run away success of the Drumulator in early 1983....

hey rob - next question:

is it somehow possible to load my sp12 samples into my emulatorII
and vice versa??? as you know i recently bought a sp12 and i got
some discs with it, too. i tried to load but the emulator said:

"insert pref disk and press enter"

i haven\ufffdt tried to load an EII sample into the sp12 because i\ufffdm
still looking for an 1541-II-floppy.
