To expand on e-synths post: If you have a dual floppy E-II you should be using the floppy OS (version 3.1 is the newest) instead of the harddrive OS you listed. Try cold booting with each of your disks as one may contain a floppy OS. Blank 5.25 floppy disks can be found at www.ebay.com and at www.floppydisk.com Sound Designer and cable making/buying docs are located in the group file section. A legacy Mac with a 68030 processor and System (OS) 7.1 or better is recommended. Lots more Mac info through the group links section and the compatibility database as e-synth mentioned.
