Hey Mike, It plays back non-distorted but very low in volume, barely-audible low. And that's with the master volume cranked up to max. My thought is that if the A/D would be bad, that the audio would be somewhat scratchy, distorted or so. But the fact that the audio basically sounds "intact" gives me hope that it might be a dry joint as you mentioned... I might just take it to my tech as this is a bit over my head.. Thanks Mike!
