I haven't had a chance to copy that Sweetwater CD for you but I will. I plan to do all of these things on the weekend and when it comes I don't do them.

What is the voltage availible for the backlight?
The Lumitex uses a fiber optic material with an LED as the light 
source.
It's suppose to be able to replace EL Foils.
