this souds obvious, but is the input gain high enough? (Not just the knob, but the gain setting... "SAMPLE page 3 )
Whats it metering on your EII when you are sending audio to it?
If it says "Sample is good" that just means the sample didn't clip while sampling..

Hi,
After I sample a sound, it plays back very low in volume. During the metering/ gain adjusting process the input audio is looped thru in it's normal volume as well as during the sampling process. Once the "Sample is Good" message pops up and I try to play the sound, it's barely audible.
Could this be a bad A/D converter? Anyone?
