Thanks! I'm not sure I follow you though. Specifically this part:

If it's a rev 1, it doesn't need any mods to use the Mac connection  
right? I guess my question is, would it be possibly to just swap out  
my entire board for the one on Ebay and have a working RS422  
connection? That sounds a bit too simple though... Would it require  
some mods to the rev 1 board for compatibility? Would that be more  
complicated than modding the rev 0 myself.
