Is the service manual in the files section? I didn't see anything called "service manual". 

I have a friend who is an electrical engineer (used to work for JBL) and am hoping to enlist his help. Would like to gather as much info as possible for him though. If anyone else has done this, I would really love to hear how it went - if they ran into any snafus.

I have this 500 disk library now. Much of it is pro quality custom samples (Fleetwood Mac, blah blah blah) and I really want to get it backed up before it turns into a pumpkin. Would be totally willing to share the resulting files with anyone who can help.
