I really don't think so. In order to "upgrade" to 422 there have LOTS of modifications to be made on the digital board itself. Lots of kludges - you can read about that in the EII's service manual (don't know which pages exactly). If you're a GOOD technician, you may try it. I wouldn't even dare in a million years, as I'm no tech at all, and the modifications are heavy... SOrry bout that, but maybe I'm wrong..........
