I use an old Mac Classic running System 7.0.1. right now with NO problems whatsoever. I am buying a Mac Color Classic tomorrow night to speed things up a little. I have no idea if itll work as flawlessly but I hope so. I am looking at using my E2+HD a lot more in the near future for multiple vintage synth sampling sessions. I am looking for the best possible Macintosh solution in order to edit and store samples for the E2. I looked through all of the older posts but have not found a definitive answer as to which model Macintosh works best with the E2. I would like to use both Mac control and Midi if possible. Also has anyone built a SCSI kit for external zip or jazz drive compatibility for the E2+HD? I would be very interested in purchasing a kit if anyone makes one.
