Which software did you use? Ive used Toast 3.5 which requires a 68040 based Mac or better with System 7.5. Even then I couldnt burn much faster than 2X without errors. Its doubtful your 8 MHz 68000 Mac Classic with System 7.0 meets any writing softwares requirements. Youll probably also run into SCSI throughput problems with a Mac Classic, so if you do find something that works try burning at 1X.
