Was it a japanese, a mexican or even an american reissue you played?
Do you still recall?

after the '65 and it sounded..well it was no Leo, but for the price
difference it would certainly kill the crave ;) I really wish they
would stop using that sticky glass-like poly finish on the necks
though!! bust out the sandpaper! My friend has a '64 Jazzmaster but I
definitely prefer the Jaguar's shorter scale as well.. someday ..maybe
one sunny yard-sale day :)
