Hello all,

I need your advice. I'm just about to sale my Emulator 2 and it's accesories in a single package. I really don't want to sale it (tough economic times) because it has been such an awesome machine. I've done some research about the components, but I can't seem to find others anymore. What I plan to include in the package is:

Emulator II with single (working) floppy drive at software release 3.1
Control pedals and original owners manuals
CDS3 cdrom drive (working) with all 3 Universe of Sounds CDs
Mac Quadra 800 with SD software and kit (cables) and 100 E-II factory sounds
Several floppies with sounds (some homemade) and lots of blank old floppy disks
Service Manual, Diagnostic Disks, and Debug EPROM chip

I've also copied all 1500 banks from the Universe of sounds collection onto a CD that is readable on a PC. 
You should also be able to use these banks to transfer from the Mac back to the EII as well as use the original CDS3 drive and CDs.
    All the banks (voices, presets, ect) are readable by the EMXP program. There are only 2 banks (bank 108 from Volume 1, and bank 350 from Volume 2) that are not readable from the EMXP program but they are read from the EII from the mac and the CDR3 CDs. I've expermented on translating voices into .wav and it seems to work great. I've also tried translating presets into EIII format. It translates but I haven't tried it yet to see how good the EII presets translate into something else. 
    The floppy hasn't been extensively used because I've had the CDS3 since 88. Also, I use the Mac to control the EII functions as well. Can you put me in the ball park of what a package like this would be worth. I'm not sure the cost of shipping something like this international. I appreciate any input you have.

Im in the USA, so European availability isnt something Im in touch
with, sorry. To echo whats already been said, eBay is the most
accessible marketplace to watch. In case you dont know, you -can- post
a want ad on eBay and you can also setup your eBay account to
automatically alert you by email if/when one appears.

Due to your post however, I have added a "Wanted To Buy" folder in the
files section so members can post their E-II want lists and contact
info. There is also a similar "For Sale" folder available to sellers.
This mailing list is almost 300 members strong now, so if someone here
can help or wants to sell theirs, youll probably know about it. ;)
