I'm still in the process of optimizing the communication link between the PC and the EII; the test programs I have are 100% reliable but too slow at this moment. Anyway: if I succeed in making all of this acceptable - which I'm NOT sure about - it will certainly also run under Windows XP. It should also work on a Mac running Windows via Bootcamp because the USB drivers for external RS422 ports should work as soon as the Mac's USB ports are recognized by Windows. In the first phase I will not create software for editing sounds on the EII - so EMXP will be limited to uploading and unloading banks. I will however (as a second project) also reverse engineer the whole editing stuff and investigate whether a kind of VST plugin for the Emulator is possible (ok, maybe I'm dreaming now... this would not be part of EMXP but become a separate piece of software). ///E-Synthesist --- In emulatorII-list@yahoogroups.com, "J N." <jaedooemax@...> wrote: > > Hey e-synthesist > > can U only transfer using Vista or will it work w/XP as well??? also are U only transfering files or able to edit(and or run SD on ur P.C.to edit)files as well??? > > --- On Mon, 10/6/08, Cristea Eusebiu <pcoxe2002@...> wrote: > > From: Cristea Eusebiu <pcoxe2002@...> > Subject: Re: [emulatorII-list] Re: OT: How to use an Apple CDROM drive with a Mac Classic > To: emulatorII-list@yahoogroups.com > Date: Monday, October 6, 2008, 9:10 AM > > > > > > > Fantastic news!!
