I'll try the extension(s) next week ! I first want to optimize the 
communication test program between my PC and the Emulator II :-)

The port I currently use is an RS422 port, which I added to my laptop 
by plugging in an external USB<-->RS422 converter (widely available 
on the internet).
The cable is a custom-built one with a male DB25 connector at the EII 
side and a female DB9 connector at the PC side.
