Hi all, I have a problem with trying to get my Apple CDROM drive connected to my Mac Classic 4/40. The OS is v7.5 but it doesn't have all extensions and drivers installed. So the Mac doesn't "see" anything when I simply connect the SCSI CDROM drive to the Mac. I tried to install the CDROM driver software which I found here: http://www.macdrivermuseum.net/disk/ but after launching the installer it complains: my CPU is a 68000, not a 68020 or higher, so the installation procedure is cancelled. In the Mac compatibility list I noticed that at least one member is using a Mac Classic + Apple CDROM (even with OS 7.0.1) so it must be possible to use the 68000 machines with CDROM drives. Does anyone know how to configure this machine and/or where to find the required software to enable Apple CDROM drives on the Classic ? Thanks in advance ///E-Synthesist
