I've no EII at hand here on my job site, but if you start a diskcopy on EII and exchange the source os disk with a service disk when the display reads "start copy y/n" or whatever it was, it should copy the service disk to the new disk. If not, you can read the disk with the DIAG ROM into memory and write it back to an empty disk. I started some conceptual work on a new DIAG ROM which would support direct disk dump via serial using the z-protocol, but this will take a very long time as I'm always busy with other things and the current DIAG ROM is obviously mainly written from scratch, so needs some time to sort it out. Anyhow, after optimizing the code, there should be about 3k free for own extensions :-) Greetings, Hoschi --- In emulatorII-list@yahoogroups.com, "magmusic75" <john-m-junk@...> wrote: > > I have an original EII Service manual with the original service disk's > i would like to find a way to copy them beacuse these are super hard to > find. > any info on this would be of great help. > > John >
