I tried everything out that was suggested and none of it worked, so I opened up the eII and pushed all the chips back into the sockets on the main board, making a nice gravel crunch sound as I did it. I booted everything up and we are working again. Config is as follows. Mac se system 7 EII+ ver 2.1 EII system 3.1 Using the modem port apple talk off. And also set the memory for the program as it suggests, not the maximum that is auto assigned. thanks again. Matt.
